SAXONBURG — The GFWC Saxonburg District Woman’s Club will hold its meeting 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the South Butler Community Library, 240 W Main St, Saxonburg.

They will view the Smithsonian film on the 1918 Flu Epidemic that his the West Winfield area.

The club is featured in the film because they were instrumental in replacing the wooden cross that stood on the grounds of the burial sight on Cornetti Road with a more permanent marker.

The public is invited to attend.
