A call for term limits for federal legislators

John Crisp’s illusion of a constitutional convention is only in the courts of media opinion and activist judges. A Convention of the States only amends the U.S. Constitution and does not allow for rewrites as Crisp suggests on Aug. 29.

A Convention of 34 or more states can call to amend the U.S. Constitution to limit the terms of federal legislators. No more professional politicians! Elected office will no longer be a career in either the House or the Senate of our federal legislature.

To hold public office, you need to have a real and productive life that you want to go back to; before you run for office.

An Article 5 Convention of the States is America’s relief valve from the tyranny of a federal legislature that refuses to limit their term of office or balance a budget. We can make term and budget limits real for federal legislators.

Contact your state senator and representative and voice your support for an amendment to limit the terms of federal legislators and balance the federal budget. Please sign the petition online today and let’s give Pennsylvania a voice at America’s Convention of the States.
