A vehicle ended up overturned in woods this morning on McCalmont Road in Butler Township.

The crash happened about one-half mile west of Route 8 near the Penn Township line.

The driver, a young woman, escaped with just minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene, according to authorities.

Township police said the woman was traveling south about 7:30 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle, which crossed over the northbound lane and crashed into trees and brush about 50 feet off the road.

No other details were available as the accident investigation continues.
