A portion of Dick Road will be closed for a month while PennDOT repairs embankment that was damaged during a landslide.

According to a PennDOT release, the road will be closed from Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township to Country Lane Road in Franklin Township. The release says the repairs will begin at 7 a.m. on Sept. 9 and the road is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 11.

PennDOT says motorists affected by the repair can take Shannon Road to Prospect Road to Country Lane Road to get back to Dick Road.
