Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company and Cranberry Township EMS responded to a 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, crash in the westbound lane on Route 228 near the Interstate 79 north ramp. The crash involved a rear-end crash on the ramp. Four vehicles stopped on the road during the incident, although only two appeared to have been involved. Assistant Fire Chief John Pristas told the Eagle one person was treated for a minor injury. Traffic was backed-up for about 25 minutes.SAMANTHA BEAL/BUTLER EAGLE
