POLICE REPORTS

The following items are from various police departments:

State Police, Butler4: 51 a.m. Aug, 14 — While stopped on Great Belt Road at its intersection with Freeport Road in Jefferson Township, Jennifer L. Voltz, 34, of Saxonburg attempted to turn onto Freeport Road, according to police, but didn’t yield to oncoming traffic. Her car was hit by another car being driven by Cailyn F. Domhoff, 28, of Butler. Domhoff was treated by Saxonburg VFC Ambulance for minor injuries.9:21 a.m. Aug. 14 — A Marion Township construction vehicle was damaged overnight. The vehicle, a JCB-Wheel Loader/High Lift, had a driver’s side window broken by an unknown person who ran away. No other damage was reported. Police don’t know what was used to break the window.2:38 p.m. Aug. 9 — While driving south in the right lane on I-79, Jeffrey D. Isbell, 28, of Slippery Rock allegedly moved into the left lane, hitting another car driven by Shawn M. Coulter, 23, of Ellwood City.According to police, Isbell moved back into the right lane after the crash, but Coulter’s car was sent careening over the line dividing traffic. Coulter was able to steer the car back over to the southbound lane, but he ended up crashing into a third vehicle in the right lane, the report stated. The third car was being driven by Alicia A. Sabastian, 33, of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.The crash sent Sabastian and Coulter’s car into the right side guardrail. The two cars stopped afterward. Isbell continued to drive south and allegedly left the accident site. A witness observed his car’s license and he was later found. No injuries were reported, but police observed that Sabastian suffered a possible minor injury.
