Woman accused of stealing, selling elderly woman's jewelry

Raini Perry of Chesapeake, Ohio, was arraigned Monday on charges of burglary, two counts of trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

ADAMS TWP — An Ohio woman is accused of burglarizing an elderly widow's home and stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry — some that she and her husband later allegedly sold.

Adams Township police said they suspect Raini D. Perry, 28, of Proctorville the next day entered the home again without the victim's knowledge and returned some of the jewelry, telling investigators she “felt bad.”

She and Matthew W. Perry, 53, of Chesapeake are both in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail each following their arrests Sunday.
