Boben 50th anniversary
Mary Lou and Harry Boben of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a trip to Niagara Falls, N.Y.
Boben married the former Mary Lou Cleveland on Aug. 23, 1969, at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have two children, Wendy Clibbens of Baden and Shelly Johnston of Ambler, Pa.
They also have four grandchildren.
Boben retired from Harsco Metals as director of safety, environment and quality for North America.
He is a member of the St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club, Oneida Bow Hunters, and the Hiland Friday Night Golf League.
He enjoys hunting, archery, golf and Bible study.Mrs. Boben retired from Laurel School District as a first-grade teacher.She is a member of Community Alliance Church of Butler, Butler Dog Training, Meals on Wheels and the Buttercup Garden Club.She enjoys therapy dogs, gardening and Bible Study.
