PENN TWP — The 11th annual Penn Township Community Day will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Harcrest Community Park on Three Degree Road, near the intersection with Brownsdale Road.

Attractions will include fire and road department trucks, a bounce house, a dunk tank, volleyball, Frisbee golf, horseshoes, playground equipment, games, free pony rides, walking trails, live music, face painting, local vendors and raffles.

Local businesses have provided gift baskets, which include special baskets for children, for the raffles, and free hot dogs and hamburgers for all who attend.

BRUIN — The George and Mina Pennington family reunion will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Bruin Park, 100 Park St.Take a dish to share.
