Sunday's Red Church Offering at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. The 10 a.m. Sunday worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will feature music from the Sanzotti family, liturgy by Nathan Turley, and the message by Elder Brian Graff.

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., hosts a neighborhood picnic from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Call 724-287-7241, Ext. 1, to let the church know how many are coming so it can have enough food.Sunday's service schedule begins at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday School classes and an 11 a.m. worship service followed by a luncheon and a 1 p.m. worship service.

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will have a 10 a.m. Sunday worship service. Children's Church takes place following the children's sermon when children and their leaders move out of the sanctuary to worship space downstairs. They return at the sharing of the peace.The community dinner is from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at the church.

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., opens Grace's Closet, a free clothing bank from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. No proof of income is required. Each family may fill one large bag.The closet will remain open the second and fourth Saturday of each month.Holy Communion is celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

GraceWay meets each Sunday morning for a 10 a.m. worship service at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.Linda Grigor and MaryAnn Mahan will be providing the music at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave., Butler Township, will send some members to help with rebuilding in North Carolina on a mission trip with Old Union Church of Mars.Women's Night Out is 6 p.m. Aug. 26.Those interested in helping with the Aug. 28 community dinner at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, sign up at the church.

All congregation members of Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia, are invited to a Kids ROCK Work Night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The evening will consist of an Introduction to the Curriculum, Lesson Planning, and Recruiting Volunteers. Refreshments will be served.
