Butler's Disneyland
Take a trip into Butler’s amusement-park past when Bill May presents “History of Alameda Park — Butler’s Disneyland” at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Carousel Shelter, 184 Alameda Park Road, Butler Township. The presentation will include a slide show, stories and photographs of the 1901-1943 amusement park plus a virtual ride on its roller coaster. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by Butler County Parks and Recreation.
