MCMURRAY — Rob McCellan of Butler finished eighth in the 116th West Penn Open championship golf tournament after notching a 4-under 68 on Thursday to finish minus-8 for the tournament at Valley Brook Country Club.

Saxonburg resident Joe Boros finished T24 after hitting a par 72 in the third and final round to finish the tournament plus-2.

Beau Titsworth of Pittsburgh followed up his course record 62 from Wednesday with a minus-3 69 on Thursday to help him secure the tournament win by three strokes, with a minus-16 finish.
