MCMURRAY — Butler's Rob McClellan enters the third and final day of the 116th West Penn Open championship golf tournament tied for ninth place after carding a 1-under 71 Wednesday at Valley Brook Country Club.

Entering the second round, McClellan was in a five-way tie for third place at minus-3. That quintet included Pittsburgh's Beau Titsworth, who set the course on fire Wednesday, earning 10 birdies and shooting a course record 62. His minus-13 after two rounds leads T.J. Howe by three strokes for the top spot.

McClellan's second round included three birdies, one eagle, two bogies and a double-bogey.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a four-year, $57 million contract extension with linebacker Deion Jones.The new deal, which includes $34 million in guaranteed salary, was announced by the team on Wednesday. The contract carries through the 2023 season.Jones’ deal is the latest major financial commitment to the defense.
