These items have been collected from various police departments.

Monday — Douglas L. Robertson, 61, of Butler was charged with being nearly three times the state's legal limit for alcohol stemming from a traffic stop last month on West Diamond Street just west of Shore Street. He was pulled over around 10:50 p.m. June 19 for a brake light violation.

Police said Robertson admitted to having three drinks of alcohol, but he assured them he was “OK to drive,” according to court documents. He allegedly subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a breath test.

The test allegedly showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.239 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.

Robertson is charged with driving under the influence and a lighting violation.

6:48 a.m. Tuesday — No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision caused when one of the drivers ran a red light at New Castle Road and Route 68. Police cited Robin L. Walters, 57, of Slippery Rock with the traffic light violation. David Niedergall, 28, of Zelienople was the other driver.Both vehicles had to be towed.Monday — Julian Trigueros, 36, of Bruin was charged with being more than three times the state's legal limit for alcohol last month in the drive-through lane at the McDonald's restaurant at the Butler Crossing shopping plaza.An employee notified police around 2 a.m. June 16 after suspecting Trigueros was intoxicated. Police said he subsequently failed field sobriety tests. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.The test results allegedly showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.247 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.Trigueros is charged with driving under the influence.Monday — Alyssa M. Graham, 20, of Butler was cited for shoplifting $76.71 in merchandise at the Butler Commons' Walmart on five occasions between April 9 and May 15.Graham is charged with five summary counts of retail theft.

9:23 p.m. July 5 — Michael W. Schenck, 25, of Penn Township was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after he was stopped for speeding on Route 8 near Comfort Lane in Butler Township. Police said he acknowledged having consumed alcohol earlier that day.He showed impairment during field sobriety testing, according to court documents, and he was taken for a breath test that indicated his blood-alcohol level was 0.105 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.In addition to DUI, Schenck is charged with speeding, careless driving and a seat belt violation.
