VALENCIA — The Lighthouse Foundation Excel class runs at 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 29 at the Lighthouse Foundation, 116 Browns Hill Road, Suite 400.

The first four weeks cover Excel basics and the second four weeks will cover formulas and functions.

SAXONBURG — The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., will have altered hours this week because of the Saxonburg Carnival. They are: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.The library will celebrate the moon landing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday with NASA videos, an Apollo movie, moon landing activities and more.

St. Luke Lutheran Church, Butler Campus, 241 Freeport Road, will host a free bag lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Father Marinaro Park on Short Street.Lunch will include a bologna and cheese sandwich, an apple, Nutrigrain bar, a snack and water.
