SENTENCINGS

Judge Timothy McCune handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Richard Salas, 43, of Silver Springs, Md., was sentenced to one year of probation for conspiracy — access device is counterfeit, altered, incomplete. Salas also must pay a restitution order of more than $1,000 and serve 50 hours of community service. Salas was charged Aug. 26, 2016 and pleaded guilty June 12.

Veronica R. Saeler, 39, of Butler, was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment with the first 14 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring for driving under the influence. Saeler also must serve 50 hours of community service and pay a $1,000 fine. Saeler was charged Sept. 3, 2017, and pleaded guilty June 12. In a second case, Saeler was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment with the first 18 months of house arrest with electronic monitoring for driving under the influence. Saeler also must pay a $1,500 fine and serve 100 hours of community service. Saeler was charged Oct. 26, 2017, and pleaded guilty June 12.

Richard M. Vennell, 24, of Butler, must pay a $100 fine for a false statement written in the purchase, delivery or transfer of a firearm. Vennell was charged Nov. 29, 2016, and pleaded guilty June 4. In a second case, Vennell was sentenced to two years of probation and a $100 fine for simple assault. Vennell was charged June 25, 2018, and pleaded guilty June 4.

Chase T. Young, 19, of Brackenridge, was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment with the first 105 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring for driving under the influence. Young also must pay a $1,500 fine and serve 100 hours of community service. Young was charged Dec. 5 and pleaded guilty June 17.

Jeffrey E. Perritt, 58, of Butler must pay a $25 fine for disorderly conduct. Perritt was charged Nov. 7 and pleaded guilty July 9. In a second case, Perritt was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of a controlled substance. Perritt was charged Jan. 30 and pleaded guilty July 9.

Tonya M. Phillips, 42, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced to one year of probation and must pay a restitution order for retail theft. Phillips was charged Jan. 30 and pleaded guilty June 4.

Gary Lee Reed Jr., 48, of Butler, was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment with the first three days in jail and the next 30 days on house arrest for driving under the influence. Reed also must pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. Reed was charged April 1 and pleaded guilty June 17.

Marco Antonio Cantera, 33, of Butler, was sentenced to four years of probation and 90 days to one year in jail for driving under the influence and getting into an accident with an unattended vehicle. Cantera also must pay $1,800 in fines and serve 100 hours of community service. Cantera was charged Oct. 22 and pleaded guilty July 8. In a second case, Cantera was fined $200 for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and purchasing alcoholic beverage by a minor. Cantera was charged Aug. 27, 2018, and pleaded guilty July 8. In a third case, Cantera was sentenced to six months of probation and must serve 25 hours of community service for disorderly conduct. Cantera was charged March, 27 and pleaded guilty July 8.

Shamar Grant, 21, of Lansdowne, was sentence to 30 days in jail, a $500 fine and time served to one year in jail for possessing marijuana and giving false identification to law enforcement. Grant was charged Oct. 23 and pleaded guilty July 8.

Travis Scott Conklin, 30, of Bradford, was sentenced to six months to one year in jail for theft. Conklin received 161 days of credit for time already served, and he must pay a restitution order of more than $3,000. Conklin was charged Feb. 5 and pleaded guilty June 10. In a second case, Conklin was sentenced to time served to one year for forgery. He must pay a restitution order of more than $3,000. Conklin was charged July 25, 2018, and pleaded guilty June 10.

Luke Patrick Erath, 21, of McKees Rocks, was sentenced to one year to 36 months in state prison for receiving stolen property. Erath was charged Feb. 20, and he pleaded guilty July 8.

Donald J. Campbell, 35, of Freeport, was sentenced to four years of intermediate punishment with the first year on house arrest for retail theft. Campbell received seven months of credit for time already served. He also must serve 25 hours of community service and pay a restitution order. Campbell was charged June 19 and pleaded guilty June 18.
