It’s been a year,

but it seems like yesterday.

We still remember, hard working hands

and twinkle in your eyes.

We still remember,

watching you plant flowers,

Driving the tractor

and helping a friend.

We still remember,

time at the mill,

and service to St. Peters.

We still remember,

tiller of the land,

and farmer true and true.

We still remember, love of family, God and honor of our country.

Heart of gold, a strong,

but yet gentle man,
