Butler honor students named
The following Butler Senior High School students have been named honor students with distinction based on grade calculations.
All honor students with distinction have achieved a 4.2 or higher grade point average.
Maegan Emanuel is the daughter of Joanne and Ed Emanuel of Evans City. She is a member of the women's track and field team and the Future Business Leaders of America. She plans to attend Seton Hill University to pursue a career as a physician's assistant.
Taylor Gilliland is the daughter of Shawn and Jennifer Gilliland of Renfrew. She is a member the high school orchestra and the rifle team. She plans to attend Butler County Community College and major in nursing.
Pavlog Pawluk is the son of Victor and Yuliya Pawluk of Butler. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the football and wrestling teams. He plans to attend Penn State University as a civil engineering major.
Rachel Ruffner is the daughter of Terri and David Ruffner of Butler. She is a member of the French Club, the Japanese Club and the National Honor Society. She plans to attend Gettysburg College as a creative writing major.
Anna Fabrizzi is the daughter of Michael and Sharon Fabrizzi of Butler. She is a member of the Environmental Club, National Honor Society, Book Club and school musicals. She plans to attend Slippery Rock University.
