SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University’s athletic teams sported a 3.326 overall grade point average during the 2018-19 academic year, tops among the 13 members of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education that compete in the PSAC.

The Rock’s field hockey team led the PSAC with a GPA of 3.684. The women’s soccer team led the league with a 3.601 GPA and the men’s soccer team did likewise with a 3.354 GPA.

SRU’s women’s tennis team, which won the PSAC West regular season title, had the highest team GPA of any Rock team at 3.763.
