There is a flash flood watch in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday for the county.

The county was also designated as having a hazardous weather outlook, according to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh.

Residents should expect showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall, exceeding two inches an hour.

The outlook said wet soil from earlier storms has created an environment where flash flooding is possible.
