VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS

The following churches have announced their vacation Bible schools:

SARVER — Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road, will have vacation Bible school, “ROAR! Life is Wild, God is Good,” from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. July 15 to 20 for ages 3 through completed fifth grade.

MOUNT CHESTNUT — Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422, will have “Roar” vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:15 p.m. July 15 to 19 for children in pre-kindergarten (must be potty trained) through fifth grade.

CRANBERRY TWP — Oak Hill Alliance Church, 2782 Rochester Road, invites all children (age 3 and older through those who have just completed sixth grade) to come to vacation Bible school running from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 2.This year's theme is “The Incredible Race.” It's a race filled with fun clues to find and loaded with interesting challenges to attempt.Online registration is now open. MARS — St. John Lutheran Church and Mars United Presbyterian Church will have “Roar” vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 14 to 18 at Mars United Presbyterian, 232 Crowe Ave.Registration is required and may be made by going to www.mars-up.org.

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will have vacation Bible school, “Wednesdays Around the World,” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 10, 17, 24 and 31 for ages three through sixth grade at the church.Participants will learn about a different country each week. The session includes dinner, a snack, a Bible story, craft, games and cooking.Register by calling 724-287-5427.
