At right, Nemesio Guzman, 11, of Butler, takes a shot at knocking over the bottles during the carnival June 28 at Rotary Park in the city’s Island neighborhood.The carnival was put on by the Midland Evangelical Free Church of Midland, Mich.The children participate in the Child Summer Food Service and Activities program, which runs from mid-June to mid-August, run by the Grace Youth and Family Foundation in partnership with the Butler Parks & Recreation Department.
