SENTENCINGS

Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Jorge Luis Perez Burgos, 44, of Buffalo was sentenced to three to 12 months in jail for simple assault. Burgos was immediately paroled after receiving credit for time already served. Burgos must also pay a $900 restitution order. He was charged on Oct. 11 and pleaded guilty on June 4.

William L. Horne, 38, of Butler was sentenced to 15 to 30 months in jail for obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct. Horne was charged on Oct. 9 and pleaded guilty on June 5.

Gavin D. Wiefling, 29, of Butler was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment with the first 14 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring for driving under the influence. Wiefling must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. Wiefling was charged on Feb. 4 and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Morgan R. Moretti, 21, of Zelienople was sentenced to one year of probation and must serve 20 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. Moretti was charged on Dec. 19, 2017, and pleaded guilty on April 1. In a second case, Moretti was sentenced to one year of probation and must serve 15 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia. Moretti was charged on Dec. 29, 2017 and pleaded guilty on April 1.

Christian J. Sheasley, 49, of Dublin, Ohio, was sentenced to one year of probation and must pay $8,000 in restitution for theft by false impression. Sheasley was charged on Nov. 13, 2017, and pleaded guilty on April 3. In a second case, Sheasley was sentenced to one year of probation and must pay $5,000 in restitution for theft by false deception. Sheasley was charged on Jan. 22, 2018, and pleaded guilty on April 3.

Carli D. Colcombe, 22, of Sarver was sentenced to nine to 18 months in jail and four years of probation for possession of controlled substances by an inmate. With credit for time already served, Colcombe is eligible for parole. Colcombe was charged on Nov. 6, 2018, and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Jordan Guy Evans Sr., 28, of Clarion was sentenced to one to two years in jail and one year of probation for possession with intent to deliver and firearms not to be carried without a license. Evans was credited with 272 days for time already served. Evans was charged on Sept. 29 and pleaded guilty on May 29.

Charon Goodwin, 27, of Butler was sentenced to 15 months of probation for terroristic threats. Goodwin was charged on Feb. 13 and pleaded guilty on May 20.

Aaron D. Butler, 34, of Evans City was sentenced to two to six years in prison for manufacturing marijuana with intent to deliver. Butler was charged on Oct. 15, 2015, and pleaded guilty on Nov. 1, 2017. In a second case, Butler was sentenced to two to six years in prison for possession of marijuana. Butler was charged on Feb. 3, 2016, and pleaded guilty on Nov. 1, 2017. In a third case, Butler was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail for driving under the influence. Butler received credit for time served. Butler must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service.

Daniel I. Wick, 24, of Lyndora was sentenced to 72 hours to six months of probation for driving under the influence. Wick must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. Wick was charged on Feb. 20 and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Joshua A. Lieberum, 37, of Butler was sentenced to six to 23½ months in jail and six months of probation for simple assault and disorderly conduct. With credit for time already served, Lieberum was immediately paroled. He was charged on Nov. 28 and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Eric T. Defelice, 23, of Lyndora was sentenced to one year of probation for resisting arrest. Defelice must also serve 25 hours of community service. Defelice was charged on Dec. 26 and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Paul J. Berzonski, 27, of Grove City must pay a $25 fine for following too closely. Berzonski was charged on Oct. 6, 2017, and pleaded guilty on June 4.

Joseph P. Martin, 34, of Petrolia was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of a controlled substance and presenting false identification to law enforcement. Martin was charged on Jan. 30 and pleaded guilty on June 10.

Christopher K. Boltz, 37, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation for driving under the influence and speeding. He must pay $545 in fines and serve 60 hours of community service. Boltz was charged on Jan. 14 and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Shane Kucsmas, 27, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to six months of probation and must pay a $75 fine for theft. Kucsmas was charged on Jan. 22 and pleaded guilty on June 4.

Devin D. Thompson, 23, of Glenshaw was sentenced to one year of probation for theft. Thompson was charged on Feb. 26 and pleaded guilty on June 3.

Joshua R. Gaiser, 27, of Butler was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail for driving under the influence and without a license. Gaiser must also serve 60 hours of community service and pay $1,200 in fines. Gaiser was charged on Jan. 28 and pleaded guilty on June 3.
