Police and emergency crews responding to a vehicle accident in at Route 38 and Thorn Run Road in Summit Township Wednesday afternoon.

SUMMIT TWP — One person was hurt in a T-bone crash between a car and a pickup truck shortly after 1 p.m. at Thorn Run Road and Route 38 in the township.

A woman riding in the car was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with apparent minor injuries.

State police said the woman's husband was eastbound on Thorn Run Road and pulled out from a stop sign in front of a pickup truck traveling east on Route 38.

The front of the truck hit the car's passenger side.

Neither driver was injured. Police said the driver of the car will be cited for a stop sign violation.

The road remained open as crews worked at the scene.

Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Butler Ambulance Service assisted police at the scene.
