Preliminary hearing rescheduled 7th time

MOON TWP — Just weeks after appearing in federal court on charges of fraud and embezzlement, 50-year-old Scott Roskovski accompanied his 21-year-old son Tuesday to an Allegheny County court for the younger man's own charges of possessing a trove of psychedelic drugs.

Jacob Scott Roskovski of Center Township was arrested and arraigned Jan. 24 on a list of felony and misdemeanor drug charges after police said they found a variety of psychedelic drugs in his Moon Township apartment last summer. On Tuesday, Jacob Roskovski rescheduled his preliminary court hearing for the seventh time.

Jacob faces seven felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, six misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities said they found numerous illegal drugs including marijuana, LSD, psychedelic mushrooms and other hallucinogenic substances.

According to court documents, FBI and other federal agents went to the apartment last summer as part of the investigation into his parents, Stephanie and Scott Roskovski, and the alleged embezzlement of $1.3 million from Butler Health System.

Stephanie Roskovski was the chief operating officer for BHS from 2011 to 2017 and her husband was fired from his job as a detective in the Butler County District Attorney's Office in 2018.
