BUFFALO TWP — Sarver residents Michael Norris and Carl Bowser earned berths in upcoming World of Outlaw features by posting victories Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.

Norris, driving for car owner Todd Cerenzia, was dominant for 25 laps in the Late Model feature during Lernerville's Mid Season Championships. Colton Flinner, Jared Miley and Alex Ferree finished sec ond through fourth.

Norris' win landed the two-time track champion a spot in Saturday night's Firecracker 100 main event.

Bowser started up front in the inaugural Chad McCutcheon Memorial Sprint feature. He led from wire to wire to earn a spot in the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup race next month at Lernerville.

AJ Flick and Jack Sodeman Jr. finished second and third, respectively.

Mat Williamson, a four-time Modified points champion at the Sarver oval, started from the 11th position, but picked up the feature win Friday. Dave Murdick finished second and Jeremiah Shingledecker third.

Tyler Dietz started from the 11th spot in the Pro Stock feature and rallied to win. Corey McPherson took second and Ryan Moyer third.

The Firecracker 100 runs Thursday through Saturday night this week at Lernerville, with 30-lap feature races set Thursday and Friday night and the 100-lap feature slated for Saturday night.
