A 22-year-old Center Township woman waived to court Tuesday charges of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Hannah M. Hawryliak was arrested after authorities found her at a house with her boyfriend, an alleged drug dealer, during a search of the residence. The Office of the Attorney General's narcotics task force executed a search warrant April 10 at the Holyoke Road house, where officers said they found Hawryliak and Jackson R. Blakely, 21, of Butler, who faces his own drug charges. About one pound of suspected marijuana was allegedly found during the search.

Hawryliak appeared with her mother at the judge's office in Chicora, along with her lawyer Rebecca L. Black. Hawryliak made no comments and her case will continue.

She was released on her own recognizance following arraignment in April.

A Fairview Township man being held in Butler County Prison waived to court Tuesday charges of drug possession in an alleged marijuana growing operation. At the preliminary hearing, William R. Ringler’s bond was reduced from $25,000 to $7,500.Police responded to a shooting at the Fairview home of Ringler, 47, on May 27. Ringler wasn’t involved in the shooting, but when police responded, they allegedly smelled a “strong odor” of marijuana coming from the home.They also noticed what appeared to be marijuana plants, grow lamps and a ventilation pipe in the trailer.The patrol officers notified the police vice unit, which obtained and executed a search warrant.Seized in the search, documents said, were 33 marijuana plants, multiple grow lights, fans, ventilation and water equipment.He’s facing two felony counts and four misdemeanor counts of drug possession and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Butler County Prison following arraignment.
