CHICORA — North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Church Road, will host its fourth annual community picnic beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday.

It features live music, a car cruise, food, games for children and a basket raffle. The event will conclude with a large professionally produced fireworks show at dusk.

EMLENTON — New Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 1195 Airport Road, will have its annual outdoor service and picnic at Hughes Park in Emlenton Sunday.The service will begin at 10:45 a.m., and lunch will follow at noon.Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided.
