Lunchtime concerts, hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association, take place at noon Fridays, some in the symphony office at 259 S. The free Family Concert Series, sponsored by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 13 in the Odd Fellow Gazebo at Alameda Park in Butler Township. The Musicians’ Concert Band, in its 34th performance season, will present “Musical Potpourri — A little of this, and a little of that” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Butler Intermediate High School auditorium. The next concert will be “Big Band Swing” with Kevin and Mary Gibbons Big Band on June 21. Suggested donation is $5.

In Cranberry Township’s Community Park’s Rotary Amphitheatre, The Project Band will be playing beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday. The band’s music includes songs from the Bee Gees, the Rolling Stones, Linda Ronstadt and Pink Floyd. Playing on June 20 at 7 p.m. will be The Rick Purcell Band, performing musical selections ranging from the big band era to the present.

The free Summer Concert Series in Harmony takes place on the square. The Allegheny Brass Band will perform at 8 p.m. June 27 with jazz, big band, Broadway, light classics and patriotic favorites including fireworks. Take seating. Call 724-452-6780.
