Martinis with Monet returns to Cranberry

Colleen Sherts' “Growing Tall” won an honorable mention at last year's Martinis with Monet exhibit in Cranberry Township. The Cranberry Artists Network will host this year's exhibit starting July 10.

The biggest art event in Cranberry Township returns this summer.

Martinis with Monet, an open show featuring artwork from Cranberry Artists Network members as well as the public art community, will run July 10 through Aug. 19 in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road.

An opening reception is 7 to 9 p.m. July 10.

The Cranberry Artists Network hosts this event alongside the Cranberry Township Community Chest (CTCC).

The reception is a ticketed event and fundraiser for CTCC, and the municipal center will otherwise be closed including the library for the duration of the event. All those wishing to attend the event, including artists, must have a ticket to enter.

Tickets are $25 and are available in advance at the municipal center administration office.

Other than the reception, the artwork can be viewed whenever the municipal center is open.

Other upcoming exhibits for the network include:

Artwork by founding member emeritus Duane Cacali for the month of June

Cranberry Artists Network fifth anniversary board members show, July and August

Gayle Shubert, September.

Artists can enter their work now at www.cranberryartistsnetwork.com.
