City woman accused of trying to cheat on drug test

Terri Lonzo

CENTER TWP — A Butler woman is accused of trying to use a urine-filled condom to cheat on a drug test.

A parole agent caught 37-year-old Terri S. Lonzo trying to foil the drug screening Tuesday at the state parole and probation office in Center Township, state police said.

Just before the late morning screening, according to charging documents, Lonzo told the agent that she needed to “take something off.”

It was around that moment, police said, that the defendant got busted with the do-it-yourself contraption designed to circumvent the drug test.

“Lonzo brought a condom with clean urine,” documents said, “and taped it to her crotch.”She was arraigned Tuesday on a misdemeanor charge of attempting to furnish drug-free urine, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail. She is also being held on a parole detainer.Lonzo's preliminary hearing is set June 11 at the office of District Judge Lewis Stoughton in Chicora.
