These items have been collected from various police departments.

6:07 p.m. Saturday — A two-vehicle collision left two teenagers with minor injuries in the 400 block of South Benbrook Road. The teens, both age 17, were passengers in a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl. They were treated at the scene.

Police said the teen driver pulled out of a driveway and collided with a vehicle driven by John Perry, 65, of Butler. Both vehicles had to be towed.

The girl, who police did not identify, was cited for improperly entering or crossing a road.

10:20 a.m. Saturday — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck at Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road. Police said the crash occurred when Stephanie B. Sloan, 25, of Lyndora allegedly ran a red light, causing her car to hit a pickup truck.

Sloan and the other driver, Richard Gavula, 72, of Butler both suffered minor injuries that required medical treatment. Police cited Sloan for a red light violation.

The crash closed one lane each going north and south on Hansen Avenue for about 30 minutes.

2:55 p.m. Saturday — Four people were injured in a two-car crash in Slippery Rock Township. The wreck occurred when a car driven by Risa A. Eiger, 51, of Grove City attempted to pass another vehicle on Route 173 at Weaver Lane.Noviko Michaud, 41, of Slippery Rock, the other driver, was attempting to turn left into the Madison Grove Apartments at the time of the crash. After the collision, Eiger's car hit a tree stump and rolled onto its driver's side.Taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center with unknown injuries were Eiger and passenger, Arielle Eiger, 28, of Grove City; and Michaud and her passenger, Lindsay L. Grills, 29, of Slippery Rock. All four occupants were wearing seat belts.Police cited Risa Eiger for careless driving.May 14 — Police charged an Allegheny County man with drugged driving in connection with a traffic stop last month in Slippery Rock Township. Police said the defendant, Dale C. Haslett Jr., 23, of South Park, was stopped around 8:20 p.m. April 23 for allegedly running a stop sign and crossing the solid yellow line on Harmony Road.Haslett admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the evening, according to court documents. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which confirmed he had marijuana in his system, documents said.Police said they searched his vehicle and found a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana.He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, a stop sign violation, careless driving and a seat belt violation.1:55 a.m. May 10 — Michael J. McAlister, 37, of Harrisville was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck a ditch on Route 8 just south of Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.Police said when they found the crash, McAlister was attempting to hide behind the car. He refused to submit to field sobriety testing, according to court documents.Police said he was later taken to the Slippery Rock University police station for a breath test, which showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.181 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.McAlister is charged with DUI, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, texting while driving and careless driving.11:42 p.m. May 6 — An unknown thief stole about $300 in quarters from a soda machine at Prospect Pizza on Main Street in Prospect. The suspect was driving a GMC Envoy.4:56 p.m. May 6 — A teenager allegedly distracted by his cell phone lost control of a pickup truck and crashed into two mailboxes along West Park Road. Police said the driver, Charles A. Hogg, 18, of Slippery Rock, fled the scene.Hogg was subsequently cited for hit-and-run and disregarding traffic lanes.

May 16 — An elderly Cowansville man was victimized in a phone scam. The 89-year-old man told police he sent money to the unknown thief, who called pretending to be with Publishers Clearing House.

5:40 p.m. May 9 — A car driven by Danielle L. Durbin, 21, of Portersville rear-ended another car that was stopped for a red light on Route 422 just east of State Road in Shenango Township.Neither Durbin nor the other driver, Jackie L. Dierickx, 29, of New Castle, was injured. Police cited Durbin for following too closely to another vehicle.
