SENTENCE COURT

Judge Timothy McCune handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Carl A. Tillander, 42, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation and a $100 fine for possessing drug paraphernalia. Tillander was charged Dec. 10 and pleaded guilty March 5.

Roy Charles Jones II, 34, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to six months of probation for operating a watercraft with the highest rate of alcohol. He must also serve 60 hours of community service and pay a $300 fine. Jones was charged Sept. 10 and pleaded guilty April 10.

William E. Duplaga, 42, of Aliquippa was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment with the first four months on house arrest for receiving stolen property. Duplaga must also pay $1,000 in restitution and serve 50 hours of community service. Duplaga was charged Dec. 9, 2016 and pleaded guilty Jan. 15. In a second case, Duplaga was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment with the first four months on house arrest for receiving stolen property. Duplaga must also serve 100 hours of community service and pay a restitution order. He was charged Nov. 1, 2016 and pleaded guilty Jan. 15.

Richard James Brown, 39, of New Kensington was sentenced to one to two years in jail for simple assault and he received credit for time already served. Brown was charged on Nov. 29 and pleaded guilty April 10.

Akeem A. Colquitt, 30, of Springfield, Ohio, was sentenced to a jail sentence of time served to 18 months, with an additional one year of probation afterward for criminal trespass and simple assault. Colquitt was charged Oct. 11 and pleaded guilty May 8.

Elijah Jimmy Lane, 24, of Philadelphia was sentenced to a total of 4-to-23 months for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Lane was charged Jan. 2 and pleaded guilty May 8. Lane must also pay a $100 fine.

Jennifer Marie Elder, 24, of Butler was sentenced to a total of one year to 36 months in jail for operating a methamphetamine lab and possession with intent to deliver or manufacture. Elder was charged Sept. 12 and pleaded guilty May 8. She received credit for time already served.

Kyle Stephens Simmons, 23, of Tarentum was sentenced to a total of two years of probation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Simmons was charged Sept. 13 and pleaded guilty May 8.

Ralph W. Cranmer, 58, of Butler was sentenced to six months probation and a $100 fine for disorderly conduct. Cranmer was charged May 26. 2018 and pleaded guilty April 10.

Chelsie Joy Bauman, 32, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation for simple assault. Bauman was charged May 17, 2018 and pleaded guilty April 9.

Joselyn Forty, 34, of Springdale was sentenced to six months of probation and 25 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia. Forty was charged Oct. 9 and pleaded guilty April 9.

Shawn Allen Johns, 46, of Butler was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment with the first year on house arrest on electronic monitoring and an additional 90 days on house arrest for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and careless driving. He must also serve 100 hours of community service and pay $2,525 in fines along with $500 in restitution. Johns was charged Oct. 22 and pleaded guilty April 9.

George Louis Montgomery, 24, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation and served 10 hours of community service for disorderly conduct. Montgomery was charged Aug. 6 and pleaded guilty Jan. 9.

Steven Glenn Ramsey, 33, of Ellwood City was sentenced to six to 36 months in jail for possessing marijuana with an intent to deliver. He received credit for time already served, allowing Ramsey to be immediately paroled. He was charged July 16 and pleaded guilty April 11.

Kurt William Speicher, 33, of Portersville was sentenced to one year of probation and 50 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia. Speicher was charged Aug. 1 and pleaded guilty April 9. In a second case, he was sentenced to one year of probation and 50 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged April 16, 2018 and pleaded guilty April 9.

Charleen Rae McConnell, 28, who has no known address, was sentenced to six months of probation and 50 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia. McConnell was charged Sept. 10 and pleaded guilty April 10.
