9:42 p.m. Sunday — Rachel A. Mangan, 30, of Lyndora was arrested after she allegedly scuffled with an officer during an incident at an apartment on College Street. Officers had gone there — the second time that night — for a noise complaint.

Police told Mangan, who was there, to turn down the music. They did not recognize her and eventually asked her for identification. She repeatedly refused and police attempted to arrest her.

The defendant pulled away from police, according to court documents, and got into a tussle with an officer in the dining room and living room.

Mangan was arraigned on charges of resisting arrest, obstructing the administration of law or other governmental function, disorderly conduct and a city ordinance violation for loud noise. She was released on her own recognizance following arraignment.

1:50 a.m. Saturday — James R. Penwell, 26, was arrested after he allegedly shoved his girlfriend over a couch during a domestic dispute at his apartment on the 300 block of West Jefferson Street.

The victim told police that she injured her arm during the incident, according to court documents. Police noted that the woman had bruising on her right forearm.

Penwell was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and released on his own recognizance.

May 4 — Roger M. Achezinski, 66, of Butler Township was arrested on drunken driving charges after police said he ran a stop sign at West Wayne and South Chestnut streets.

Achezinski failed field sobriety tests, according to court documents, and he was taken for a breath test that showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.085 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.

In addition to driving under the influence, he is charged with a stop sign violation.

Monday — Mark A. Koebler, 43, of Oakland Township was charged with drugged driving stemming from a traffic stop last month in Butler. Police said he was pulled over around 10 p.m. April 10 at Ridge and 13th avenues.The stop was made, according to court documents, after police noticed his car fit the description of a vehicle involved in a suspected shoplifting incident April 8 at a store in Oakland Township.Koebler appeared impaired, documents said, and he admitted he “smokes crack.” Later, while performing sobriety tests, he allegedly told police, “I eat Vicodin like candy.”Police took him to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which he refused.He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license and careless driving.
