As the Dance with Butler County Celebrities contest draws nearer, amateur and professional pairs like Amanda Gold, a second-grade teacher at McQuistion Elementary School, and competitive dancer Michael Gherling polish up their routine for the May 11 event. Tickets are available through Thursday for the event hosted by the Butler County Symphony Orchestra. Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Days Inn by Wyndham Butler Conference Center, 139 Pittsburgh Road, followed by 6 p.m. dinner and entertainment.
