[naviga:h3]SRU’s Hess gets PSAC track honor[/naviga:h3]

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University sophomore sprinter Reagan Hess has been named PSAC Outdoor Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.

Hess won the 100 meters in 11.89 seconds and anchored the winning 4x100 relay team time of 47.00 seconds at last weekend’s SRU Open.

Hess owns the PSAC’s fastest times in those events and her 100-meter time reached the NCAA provisional standard.

PITTSBURGH — A-C Valley graduate Noah Morgan earned medalist honors with a 78 as the Butler County Community College golf team carded a 349 recently at Pittsburgh National.

No other full team scores were posted.

Tucker Skerbetz shot an 85 for the Pioneers while Tyler Johnson had a 90, Kyle Mudger 91, Butler graduate Shawn Gray 95, Luke Ostermeyer 96 and Freeport graduate Julia Fischer 101.

BC3 competes Friday at The Links at Spring Church.
