[naviga:h3]BC3 golfers net win over PSU Fayette[/naviga:h3]

FRANKLIN TWP — Carmen Oliva earned medalist honors with a 78 recently as the Butler Community College golf team defeated Penn State Fayette, 336-389 at Lake Arthur Golf Club.

A-C Valley graduate Noah Morgan carded an 84, Tucker Skerbetz an 85, Kyle Mudger an 89 and Butler graduate Shawn Gray a 95 for BC3.

[naviga:h3]Butler County grads get PAC honors[/naviga:h3]

Three former Butler County athletes have received weekly honors from the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Moniteau graduate Lake Pry, a sophomore on the Grove City College baseball team, has been named PAC Pitcher of the Week. He improved to 6-0 on the season by tossing a four-hit shutout against Saint Vincent.

Mars graduate Marina Manuppelli, a sophomore on the Geneva College softball team, was named PAC Hitter of the Week. She hit .692 (9-for-13) in a pair of doubleheader sweeps, tallying 11 RBI, three doubles and a home run.

Moniteau graduate Dalton Anderson, a sophomore on the Westminster College track and field team, was named PAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. He won the javelin with a PAC-best throw of 184 feet, .01 inch at the Grove City Mini Meet. He also placed fourth in the long jump, fifth in the discus and fourth in the 100 meters.
