True reparation
America is peopled by citizens whose ancestors have carried stories of oppression. Many have suffered injustice in many forms. Our motto is “E Pluribus Unum”— from many, one. Reparations for some is being suggested in the form of money. Would a better plan be a national day of healing, a day when Americans come together to repair — a spiritual reparation?
