Sound of hypocrisy

The federal government reported a $146.9 billion deficit in March. This caused a 15 percent increase in the annual debt for the first half of the budget year when compared to the same period in 2018.

The government also reported that the fiscal year deficit grew from $600 billion to $691 billion.

Some of this deficit growth can be attributed to the tax cut which President Trump said would stimulate the economy and reduce the deficit. Looks like he was wrong.

The GOP used to rail and scream about deficits. Now all you hear from them is the sound of crickets.
