Veridy Treu

JACKSON TWP — Seneca Valley Academy of Choice dance student Veridy Treu won the highest award at the Youth America Grand Prix regional ballet competition at Upper St. Clair High School last month.

Competing against dancers from 10 other states, the Seneca Valley senior was named the YAGP Grand Prix winner of the Senior Division. The award is given to the dancer who best demonstrates excellence in both ballet and contemporary categories.

Treu also received the Youth Grand Prix award three years ago when she was in the Junior Division.
