EVANS CITY — Westminster Church Preschool, 330 E. Main St., has changed its preschool program.

The 4- and 5-year-old preschool class will now be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with a morning and afternoon class.

The three-year-old class will be two days a week, Thursdays and Fridays.

CABOT — American Legion Post 683, 752 N. Pike Road, will have a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 30 and a clearance sale from 2 to 4 p.m.

Art contest open to students

U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, invites high school students from Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District to participate in the 2019 Congressional Art Competition.

The deadline to submit art to Kelly’s office is 5 p.m. April 26.

Four winning entries will be selected by a panel of art professionals. The first-place winner will receive two free round-trip airfare tickets to Washington, D.C., to attend an official reception honoring the winners from all congressional districts around the country. The winner’s artwork will be showcased in the U.S. Capitol for one year, and the top three runners-up will have their submissions displayed in Kelly’s Washington, D.C. office.

[naviga:h3]Book sale set at Saxonburg library[/naviga:h3]

SAXONBURG — The Friends of South Butler Community Library Semi-Annual Book Sale begins Monday and runs through March 30 at the South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St.

Books will be in the main area of the library during library hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit the library.
