CRANBERRY TWP — A teen reported missing late Wednesday was found safe Thursday and is back at home with his family.

Township police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said that Wesley Mancing was found at the back end of Graham Park around 1:15 a.m. Thursday after being reported missing the day before. Police issued a bulletin late Wednesday about a 14-year-old runaway.

Mancing had been last seen at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Powell Road, walking in an unknown direction and wearing a dark-colored, short-sleeved shirt, dark-colored basketball shorts, black crew socks and navy and white basketball shoes.

Officials said there had been no contact between Mancing and his family or friends. Police, family and friends spent much of Wednesday afternoon and evening searching areas that Mancing was known to frequent.

Police said Thursday morning that Mancing had been found and was unharmed.
