Vocalist Vannatter, ensemble to perform for Jazz Cabaret
The Jazz Cabaret on May 8 at Conley Resort will feature vocalist Dane Vannatter and his ensemble.
The group includes jazz musicians Daniel May on keyboard, Tony DePaolis on bass, and Thomas Wendt on drums.
The theme of the evening will be songs written by female composers, lyricists and arrangers.
Songs will include “Pick Yourself Up,” “On the Sunny Side of the Street,” “Young at Heart,” “How High the Moon” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”
This will be the final show of the fifth season.
The evening will begin at 7 p.m. at Conley’s, 740 Pittsburgh Road in Penn Township.
Cost is $12.50 per person. Free appetizers and a cash bar are planned.
Sponsors pay the expenses for the musicians, food and lighting.
Proceeds benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
