Judge orders injunction against man arrested outside of Moniteau High School

William L. Russell II must stay five miles away from Moniteau School District and any school event.

In the event that a 36-year-old man with no known address pays his $100,000 bond to get out of jail, he will have to stay away from Moniteau High School. He was arrested near the school last week after teachers and school police reported suspicious activity.

At a court hearing Tuesday, Solicitor Andrea Parenti requested that Judge William Shaffer order an injunction that William L. Russell II stay five miles away from Moniteau School District and any school event.

Russell, who was arrested Friday, faces misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence, his first offense; possessing a weapon on school property; disorderly conduct; and careless driving.
