Sentencing Court

Judge Timothy McCune handed down the following sentences Thursday:

Donald R. Sweeney Jr., 59, of Cranberry was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment and a $50 fine for child pornography. The first three months of his sentence will be spent as an inmate in Butler County Prison. The next nine months after that will be under house arrest. Sweeney was charged on Dec. 12, 2017, and pleaded guilty on Dec. 4.

Edward J. Schreiber IV, 29, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment, a $750 fine and 60 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Schreiber was charged on April 23 and pleaded guilty on Jan. 8.

Chad Earl Vogel, 29, of Valencia was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, a $200 fine and 60 hours of community service for driving under the influence and driving without a license. Vogel received credit for time served. He was charged on Aug. 13 and pleaded guilty on Feb. 5.

Ethan Davis Poczynski, 26, of Gibsonia was sentenced to 60 months of intermediate punishment, a $1,500 fine and 100 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Poczynski was charged on Sept. 20 and pleaded guilty on Feb. 5.

Brian Matthew Ledoux, 27, of Wexford was sentenced to 60 months of intermediate punishment, 100 hours of community service and a $1,500 fine for driving under the influence. He was charged on July 12 and pleaded guilty on Feb. 5.

Justin Daniel Ratelle, 30, of Butler was given a $25 fine for disorderly conduct. He was charged on July 2, 2017, and pleaded guilty on March 7. In a second case, he was sentenced to one to two years for receiving stolen property and received credit for time served. He was charged on Dec. 4, 2017, and pleaded guilty on March 7. In a third case, he was sentenced to six months to two years for strangulation. He was charged on Jan. 11 and pleaded guilty March 7.

Scott Allen Simek, 33, of Kittanning was sentenced to one year of probation and 50 hours of community service for retail theft. Simek pleaded guilty March 6 and was charged on Oct. 29. In a second case, Simek was sentenced to 30 days to one year in jail for retail theft. He pleaded guilty on March 6 and was charged on Oct. 29.

Kyle Quinn Mauthe, 29, of Petrolia was sentenced to one year of probation and 50 hours of community service for disorderly conduct. He pleaded guilty on Feb. 5 and was charged on March 1, 2016.

Clinton William Scott, 47, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation and a $25 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia. He pleaded guilty on Feb. 19 and was charged on July 19. In a second case, he was sentenced to six months to one year in jail for possession with intent to deliver. He was paroled immediately. Scott pleaded guilty on Feb. 19 and was charged on June 7. In a third case, Scott was sentenced to nine to 23 months in jail with one year of probation for burglary. He pleaded guilty on Feb. 19 and was charged on July 16. Scott’s last two cases are being served at the same time.

Shanice Marie Dewalt, 24, of Detroit was sentenced to two to four months in jail and three years of probation for forgery, possession of an instrument of crime and simple assault. She received credit for time served and must pay a $100 fine. Dewalt pleaded guilty on March 6 and was charged on Oct. 27.

Thomas Peter Romspert, 27, of Butler was sentenced to pay a $300 fine for harassment, which he pleaded guilty to on March 6 and was charged on April 24, 2018. In a second case, he was sentenced to pay a $25 fine for disorderly conduct. He pleaded guilty on March 6 and was charged on Aug. 6. In a third case, he was sentenced to 30 days to one year in jail for retail theft. He was immediately paroled and must also serve 50 hours of community service. Romspert pleaded guilty on March 6 and was charged on April 30, 2018.

Eric Joseph Dippold, 37, of St. Marys was sentenced to a jail term of time served to six months, with one year of probation and 50 hours of community service for theft. He pleaded guilty on March 6 and was charged on July 18.

Nikki Lynn Fajohn, 24, of Mercer was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment and must pay restitution and a $100 fine for theft. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 4 and was charged on Jan. 23, 2017. In a second case, Fajohn was sentenced to one year of probation, a $100 fine and an order for restitution for criminal mischief. Fajohn pleaded guilty on Dec. 4 and was charged on Jan. 27, 2017.

Aliyah J. Golden, 21, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to six months of probation for retail theft. She must also pay Walmart restitution. Golden pleaded guilty on Feb. 6 and was charged on June 20.

Andrew William Green, 36, of Butler was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence. Green must also serve 100 hours of community service and pay a $1,500 fine. Green pleaded guilty on Jan. 28 and was charged on Dec. 4.

Derek Lewis Linkenheimer, 23, of Zelienople was sentenced to 18 months of probation and 50 hours of community service for recklessly endangering another person. He pleaded guilty on Feb. 6 and was charged on June 4.

Ryan J. Miller, 31, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to six months plus 90 days of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence. He must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 11 and was charged on March 23, 2016.
