I read in the Feb. 28 Eagle that the Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds and Facilities Authority wants to place the city’s farmers market under the authority’s umbrella.

The market is now well managed by volunteers from Butler Downtown. So, what’s up with that?

It seems to me that maybe the authority’s members and, most importantly, the Butler City Council, should review the maxim, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
