Konyha, Clark

Katherine Konya and Jon L. Clark

Katherine A. Konyha of Fayetteville, N.C. and Jon L. Clark of El Paso, Texas, were united in marriage Sept. 29, 2018, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman with the Rev. Ward Stakem and the Rev. Gary Stakem officiating. A reception followed at the Herman Firehall.

The bride is the daughter of William and Mary Konyha of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Rex and the late Kay Clark of Rexburg, Idaho.

The maid of honor was Michele Konyha of Butler. Bridesmaids included Kimberly Fisher of Butler, Alexia Clark of Clarksville, Tenn. and Jinni Rios of South Carolina.

The flower girl was Marlene Fisher of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Zachary Larson of Wisconsin. Groomsmen included Josh Stankawich of Washington, Pa., Shawn Clod of New York, N.Y., and Gregory Konyha of Butler.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 2014 graduate of Fayetteville Technical College, Fayetteville, N.C.

She is retired from the U.S. Army.

The bridegroom graduated in 2018 from the University of Texas at El Paso and the U.S. Army Sargeant Major Academy.

The couple is making their home in El Paso.
