Ruth Marie (Hay) Geibel

Ruth Marie (Hay) Geibel, 94, formerly of East Butler passed away on Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

She was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Penn Township, and was the daughter of the late Robert A. Hay and Myrtle M. Lee.

She was Protestant by faith.

Ruth had worked and retired after 23 years from Magnetics as a parts inspector.

Ruth is survived by one son, Richard L. Geibel of St. Louis, Mo.; a grandson, Brent Geibel of Hornell, N.Y.; and two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Erin Geibel of New York.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Geibel, whom she married on Feb. 6, 1946, and who passed away on Aug. 3, 1999; one son, David Geibel; one sister, Lois Reges; and one brother, Robert Hay.

GEIBEL — According to her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services for Ruth Marie (Hay) Geibel, who died Monday, Feb. 18, 2019.She will be entombed with her husband in the Mausoleum in Greenlawn Cemetery.Arrangements were entrusted to Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
