Faye A. “Nana” Negley

Faye A. “Nana” Negley, 102, of Cabot formerly of Steppland Road, Penn Township, passed away on Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Feb. 26, 1916, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Claybaugh Sipe.

Faye started Serv-A-Care Water Conditioning in Butler, and she managed the company for over 30 years.

She was an active member of Nixon United Methodist Church.

Faye was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed playing the organ, collecting dolls, shopping, making the “best brownies ever,” going to church activities, and watching Steelers football. She was in attendance at almost every game, play, concert or activity her grandchildren were in and enjoyed spending time with them.

Surviving are her loving son, Joseph (Anita Seth) Negley of Butler; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, M.V. Negley; a son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Rita Negley; and several siblings.

NEGLEY — Friends of Faye A. “Nana” Negley, who died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, will be received at 10:30 a.m. Saturday St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot.A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ben Berteau officiating.Interment will be held at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.Arrangements were entrusted to Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
