The Butler Junior High wrestling team finished 11th out of 55 teams at the District VII Tournament at Norwin High School over the weekend.

Kelley Schaukowitsch and Greg Schultz placed fourth for the Golden Tornado. Maguire Brady placed sixth, Cade Savochka seventh and Tyler Soldati eighth.

Earlier in the week, Butler defeated Kiski Area, 49-30, in a dual match. The Tornado closed the season at 12-5 in duals.

Winning by pins for Butler were Legend Wilkinson, Dawson Davis, Mickey Kreinbucher, Brady and Schultz. Brady pinned his opponent in 16 seconds. Other winners were Ana Malovich, Brycen Seth, Schaukowitsch, Savochka and Soldati.
